Donated books as well as those removed from the library collection are always for sale in our Book Store during library hours. New materials are added weekly, so check it out often. There is always something new and exciting to be discovered.
The Book Store prices are 50¢ for hardbacks, trade paperbacks and large format paperbacks and 25¢ for mass market paperbacks and children’s books. Magazines are also available for free.
Larger book sales are held on a regular schedule the first weekend of March, June, September and December.

The Summer Book Sale will be held in the Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library, 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd.
Thursday, May 30 | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, May 31 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 1 | 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This will be a Better Book Sale with quality books for your summer reading pleasure. All books will be priced at $1.00 and are in great condition with no library withdrawals. Special art books and new editions published in the last three years will be offered for $5.00. Colorful hand-crafted book bags are available for $5.00. Music CDs, books on CD and DVD movies will be 50¢ and the usual huge table of mass market paperbacks for 25¢ each.
During the book sale, the free clearance event will continue inside the library at the Friends Book Store.
Anyone wishing to help with the book sale please email [email protected]. We always need volunteers to help with set-up Wednesday, May 29th from 2 to 4:30 and take-down Saturday from 2 to 4. Thank-you to those who have already signed up to help.
