Donated books as well as those removed from the library collection are always for sale in our Book Store during library hours. New materials are added weekly, so check it out often. There is always something new and exciting to be discovered.
The Book Store prices are 50¢ for hardbacks, trade paperbacks and large format paperbacks and 25¢ for mass market paperbacks and children’s books. Magazines are also available for free.
Larger book sales are held on a regular schedule the first weekend of March, June, September and December.
Upcoming Book Sales
The Spring Book Sale will be held in the Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library, 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd.
Thursday, February 29th 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, March 1st 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, March 2nd 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This will be a Bargain Book Sale with all books priced at 50¢. Mass market paperbacks are 25¢. Friday all books will be 25¢, and Saturday all books will be free. This includes books in the Friends Book Store inside the library.
These fiction and nonfiction books have all been donated or withdrawn from the library and so may be slightly worn or have library markings. There will be a table of antique books and atlases and movie DVDs for 50¢.
This sale will also include new books published in the last three years and special art and coffee table books for $5.00 each. Colorful hand-crafted book bags are available for $5.00.
Anyone who is interested in helping with the sale, please contact the library. Donations of gently used books are always welcome and may be dropped off during library hours.
