Donated books as well as those removed from the library collection are always for sale in our Book Store during library hours. New materials are added weekly, so check it out often. There is always something new and exciting to be discovered.
The Book Store prices are 50¢ for hardbacks, trade paperbacks and large format paperbacks and 25¢ for mass market paperbacks and children’s books. Magazines are also available for free.
Larger book sales are held on a regular schedule the first weekend of March, June, September and December.

something to wear, something to share”
Excellent holiday gift giving advice. We agree wholeheartedly with the first suggestion. And just in time, the Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will hold the Winter Book Sale in the Ford Room December 4th, 5th and 6th. This will be a Better Book Sale with newer editions and older books of excellent quality. Most books will be priced at $1.00 and are in great condition with no library withdrawals. This includes new quality children’s books for $1.00. Special art books and new books published in the last three years will be offered for $5.00. Colorful hand-crafted book bags are available for $5.00. These can be used as wrapping! Mass market paperbacks will be 25¢ each as always.
During the book sale the free book giveaway will continue at the Friends Bookstore inside the library. Free books are available now. We still have too many remaining from the Fall sale so please stop by and fill your book bags.
Anyone wishing to help with the book sale may email us at [email protected]. Volunteers are always needed to help with set-up Wednesday, December 3rd from 2 to 4:30 and take-down Saturday, December 6th from 2 to 4.
